Sacramento Kitchen With Equal Parts Fire and Water Damage
The fire in this Sacramento kitchen was localized but left behind both fire and water damage to the floor and walls. The technicians boarded up the window for security to the property during mitigation. The water wicked into the sheetrock under the window and adjoining walls requiring removal as seen in the After Photo to open up the wall cavities for drying. SERVPRO technicians also removed the toe kicks under the cabinets and the damaged floor tiles as the subflooring required drying from prolonged water exposure and the tile delaminated. After the cleanup efforts completed, the kitchen was ready for reconstruction to fully restore the kitchen to its preloss condition.
